Since opening our doors 13 years ago, giving back to our community has always been a major focus for our company. When I joined the Edgar’s team, I had no idea what that entailed and the variety of events and organizations we were working with. During the Fall and Winter, we provide gift cards and desserts for black tie charity events and silent auctions. Throughout the Spring, we contribute to 5K’s and 24 hour walks benefiting honorable causes, and schools raising funds for their students and faculty. And each and every day, we work with our local missions to provide our day old goods for our community. If you speak with our staff, each team member has a personal tie to a charitable cause or local organization, from our sales associates to the owners.
Someone once told me that not only should you like the work that you do, but most importantly like who you are working with. When you share the same values as your co-workers, it makes it that much more enjoyable to share your experiences.
